Mt. Penn Fire Company

3 Alarms in Fleetwood

Just after midnight on April 17, Mt. Penn was dispatched as the second RIT company to supplement the Co 11(Temple) RIT. on a 3 alarm fire involving 4 buildings on E. Locust St. in Fleetwood. Arriving units had their hands full with a well involved structure that quickly spread to adjoining homes and a church. The crew from Mt. Penn stood by to render assistance if needed. Command released them shortly before 3a.m. Fortunately the only injuries were minor in nature. The fire remains under investigation by Fleetwood Police and the State Police Fire Marshall.
