Mt. Penn Fire Company

Early morning Alsace Crash

On April 20th just after 5:30a.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched to the 400 block of Antietam Rd. along with Co 4(Lower Alsace), Co5(Oley) and Co25(Exeter) for a vehicle flipped over with entrapment. On arrival it was confirmed 1 vehicle on its roof with everybody self-extricated. Other units were recalled with EMS evaluating all subjects refusing treatment. Mt. Penn stood by until the tow company removed the vehicle. Units were able to clear shortly after 6:15a.m. The PA State Police Reading are investigating.

Penn Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of the people of Mt Penn from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing Rescue services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a 100% Volunteer work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.
