Mt. Penn Fire Company

Exeter Home Depot Kids Workshop

The Mt. Penn Fire Company joined with Exeter (Co25), Birdsboro (Co7), Monocacy (Co6), Brecknock (Co72), Geigertown (Co24), Reading Scuba Team, Fire Police and Exeter Police to kick off Fire Prevention Week Saturday at the Exeter Home Depot from 9 until noon during the monthly Kids Workshop. During the event participants were able to build and paint their own wooden fire truck , meet the first responders, participate in the Kids Safety House and even grab some popcorn and hot dogs prepared by the Home Depot staff.  Although the weather wasn’t the best, the turnout was great and everybody had a good time.  We would like to thank Jim W. and Joe M. from the Home Depot for their continuing support of all first responders and inviting us to this event.
