Maidencreek Structure Fire

On January 28, just before 9a.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched as the RIT company to 231 W. Wesner Rd. in Maidencreek Twp. for a reported structure fire.  First arriving units had heavy fire showing from the porch area at the rear corner.  The fire was quickly knocked down and the rest of the building checked for further extension with none found.  Units ventilated the building of excess smoke.  Units were able to begin clearing the scene by 10a.m.

Penn Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of the people of Mt Penn from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing Rescue services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a 100% Volunteer work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.
