Rescue assists Lower Alsace on crash

MtPennLA

On June 9th shortly before 10a.m. Rescue 1 was dispatched along with Lower Alsace (Co4) for a vehicle crash at Angora Rd. and Hill Rd. in the township.  Arriving units found 2 vehicles had collided nearly head on with multiple injuries.  A second ambulance was also requested.  Fire crews were able to power down both vehicles and applied oil dry to the fluids down.  Most of the injuries were minor in nature but one person was transported to the hospital for further checks.  Crews remained on the scene for approximately 30 minutes while the tow company removed the cars and cleared the roadway.
