Well, it’s been fall for a while and now Halloween has come and gone and here we are….it’s November! October was quite the month with wild swings in the weather, quite a bit of rain and a near record amount of calls for the month. So as we move ahead it is time to fall back this weekend. The clocks go BACK 1 hour at 2a.m. Sunday but if you are like most people you will do it before you go to bed Saturday night. As you make the time adjustment don’t forget your smoke detectors. They should have new batteries in them this weekend. It’s such a small thing to do but working smoke detectors save lives every year in this country by providing an early warning, especially when you sleep. So this weekend don’t forget this minor item as it could well save your life….
