Mt. Penn Fire Company

Turkey Day

Hard to believe Thanksgiving is upon us. The holiday season typically presents an increase in calls for service. Though we appreciate the support of each one of you and we have been making house calls since 1905, we don’t want you to be one of our holiday visits. In preparation for Thanksgiving and Christmas be sure that your oven is clean and free of accumulated grease and grime. Make sure that all combustible materials are well clear of the cooking surfaces and do your best to minimize kitchen clutter. It’s also a great time to do a quick check on your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure they are in good working order. If you are travelling this holiday season DON’T DRINK & DRIVE! Like you we would rather spend the day relaxing with family and friends so let’s make sure we all have an enjoyable and safe day!
