Vehicle rollover in Mt. Penn

MtPennLA

On September 20 at 2p.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched along with Engine 4 (Lower Alsace) to the alley behind 1969 Fairview Ave. for a report of a vehicle rolled over with entrapment.  Deputy 4-1 (Mountz) arrived and confirmed the dispatch information and that the patient was conscious and alert.  Once crews arrived they stabilized the vehicle with cribbing and were able to fully open one of the doors which allowed EMS to access the patient.  Personnel were then able to assist in getting him out of the vehicle and into the ambulance with what appeared to be minor injuries.  Crews stood by until the vehicle was removed by the tow company and returned to station shortly before 3p.m.
