Mt. Penn Fire Company

CONGRATS!

The Mt. Penn Fire Company wishes to congratulate FF Tim Eisenhard on the recent successful completion of his PA EMT certification as well as passing his NREMT testing. He has been with the department over 10 years, starting as a junior firefighter and working up to becoming certified as Firefighter 1 and Vehicle Rescue Tech since then. This course was approximately 200 classroom hours in length along with extra hours doing clinical rotations at the local hospital and with active EMS units.

The Mt. Penn Fire Company also congratulates two of our other firefighters, Tyler Okonski and Dustin Wolf, who have recently completed Emergency Medical Responder or EMR class. Both have been with the department almost 10 years, also starting as junior firefighters. This course is nearly 60 hours in length and includes many of the same basic principles as EMT and Paramedic classes for initial patient care.

These recent accomplishments will further enhance our capabilities in providing QRS services to those we serve at the Mt. Penn Fire Company.
