Exeter Entrapment

On November 30 shortly after 10a.m. the Rescue was dispatched to the 500 block of Butter Lane in Exeter Township to assist Exeter (Co25) on a vehicle crash with heavy entrapment.  When units arrived they found a minivan on its driver side against a sizeable tree with the driver trapped.  The vehicle was stabilized and crews used several hydraulic tools in order to cut the roof posts which allowed the roof to be flapped down in order to provide access.  It took quite a few people to get the driver onto a backboard and out to the ambulance for transport to the hospital due to having to work around the tree.  Crews were able to return by 11a.m.
