On February 13th just before 9p.m. Mt. Penn was dispatched along with other companies including Reading City to assist Exeter Twp (Co25) with a reported structure fire at 246 Vesper Ave. in the township. First arriving units had a large shed/garage on fire with extension to a smaller one nearby. Several lines were pulled and a nearby hydrant made water supply easy although both buildings were a complete loss. The fire was under control within 30 minutes but extensive overhaul was required. Units were able to begin clearing the scene shortly after 10p.m. This fire is being investigated by the Exeter Twp. Fire Marshall.
