Mt. Penn Fire Company

It’s that time again….

Once again it’s time to adjust those clocks. At 2a.m. Sunday we SPRING AHEAD with the start of daylight savings time. That also means that it is time to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monxide alarms when you change the clocks in order to keep you and your family safe. Early detection is the key to preventing injury or death and changing the batteries does just that, ensuring that your alarms will activate. If your alarm goes off, don’t delay, evacuate everybody first and then call 911. Even if it turns out to be false it is much better to be safe than sorry!
