It is with great sadness that the Mt. Penn Fire Company announces the passing of current member and past Fire Chief Dennis Swartz on August 25th. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to Dennis’s family. Visitation will be held on August 31st from 10 to 11am at the Feeney Funeral Home (625 N 4th St Reading) with services beginning at 11:30. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the Mt. Penn Fire Company, 2711 Grant St, Reading, PA. 19606.
