Raffles are back!

Yes they are! We know many of you have been patiently waiting for this! As of a few days ago the Mt. Penn Fire Company raffles are back! We are starting slow but will be working our way up so be sure to check things out at and follow Mt. Penn Fire Company on Facebook.

Here is some information on how the raffles will work

Facebook Raffle Instructions and Information:

Berks County SGOC License# G-20-002179-R. We would like to thank you for your support and would like to make this as fun and easy as possible, but there are some rules that we will follow.• All purchases are made through a Website Link• No new raffles will be posted until the current raffle sells out• Chances may not be purchased with a Credit Card, you must use a Debit Card. If it is found a credit card was used to purchase a chance, the chance will be forfeited and considered a donation to the Mt. Penn Fire Company. The Mt Penn Fire Company reserves the right to confirm that only Debit Cards are being used for raffle purchases.• You must be 21 years of age or older and a resident of Pennsylvania to purchase a raffle chance. Purchases from anyone under 21years of age or outside of the state of Pennsylvania will be forfeited and considered a donation to the Mt. Penn Fire Company.• If you are new to the Betterworld purchasing system please see below. When you click on the Facebook Link, it will prompt you to select the number of raffle chances you wish to purchase (you can purchase as many chances as you like). Click the continue button and you will be asked for your name, address & email address. Betterworld will offer to save your information for future purchases if you so desire. Follow the prompts to checkout. Once you have checked out, Betterworld will send a confirmation email to the email address you provided. The email that you receive has a unique number, and will serve as your official raffle ticket and proof of purchase. The Mt Penn Fire Company also has a copy of this unique number in our official raffle records. Raffle Chance purchases may only be made by PA residents. We reserve the right to reject Out of State purchases, and refund your purchase at our earliest convenience. Free entries and coupons will NOT be accepted.

**FIREARM RAFFLES**• Firearm winners will be provided with a certificate of their prize following the drawing with information on how to claim the prize.• The Mt Penn Fire Company does not have the physical prize at our location.• Firearm winners must provide proof of identity to the Mt Penn Fire Company Representative to claim the prize.• Firearm winners are responsible to pay all taxes, fees and pass the PA Background check in order to claim the prize.• If the prize winner fails the PA Background Check the winner forfeits the prize, and NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. In the event a prize winner forfeits the prize, the raffle will be redrawn in the presence of the Board of Governors of the Mt Penn Fire Company. The new prize winner will be notified privately to respect the privacy of the original winner

For variable entry sweepstakes, completing the Alternative Entry Form is counted as 5 entries. For fixed ticket sweepstakes, completing the Alternative Entry Form is counted as an equal number of entries as the suggested fixed ticket donation amount. One Alternative Entry Form entry per household per day is permitted. No automated, bulk, or third-party entries. No cash equivalents. No substitutions. No transfers. No refunds. Sponsoring Organization and BetterWorld reserve the right to disqualify contestants. Sponsoring Organization and BetterWorld reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Sponsoring Organization and BetterWorld reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a promotion if any problem prevents the promotion from running as planned. Campaign begins at Start Date and ends at End Date. At the end of the campaign, a winner will be chosen at random.

All entries receive a number. At the end of the sweepstakes, the total number of entries are automatically tallied and a random number will be selected through a random number generator. Number will be between 1 and the total number of entries. Whichever person correlates to the selected number is the winner. If you would like to see a list of the winner(s), please mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsoring Organization. Residents of ID, VT, and WA may omit return postage.

You may enter the sweepstakes through any number of ways. You may receive entries for donations. For some sweepstakes, you may receive entries for sharing by Facebook, Twitter, or email, or for sharing your email address. You may receive entries through this Alternative Entry Form. To keep things fair, this sweepstakes is closed to the employees (and their immediate families), agencies, and representatives of Sponsoring Organization, Prize Provider(s), and BetterWorld.

Our Mission

The mission of the Mt. Penn Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of the people of Mt Penn from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing Rescue services; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a 100% Volunteer work environment that values health, wellness and cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.
